The Berkeley Centennial Ice Rink is being constructed with an opening expected of January. There will be two rinks to accommodate recreational skating options and hockey play.
RULES FOR USE:
- Skating is at your own risk.
- Roughhousing, excessive speeding, or weaving through other skaters is forbidden.
- Skaters of this type may be asked to leave the ice by Village staff / Police Department.
- Given the size of the rinks, no jumps, spins, figure, or backward skating is suggested.
- Children 12 and under should be actively supervised by a guardian (16+ years).
- If playing hockey, no slap shots or lifting of the puck.
- If playing hockey, no checking/hitting, roughhousing/play fighting, pushing, slashing, hooking, high-sticking, or stick-lifting is allowed.
- The ice rink was installed for the use and enjoyment of all ages and skill levels.
- Fair and equal use of the rink is expected.
